WordPress for iPhone is an Open Source project, which means anyone can play a part in its development. WordPress for iPhone is released under the GNU General Public License.
We discuss our development plans and progress on our development blog, Making WordPress for iPhone. We invite you to join the discussion there. You can follow the changes to our source code in Trac. The login system uses the WordPress.org registration. Download the free iPhone SDK to contribute code with Xcode or run the latest build in the iPhone simulator.
The source code is available via Subversion (SVN). You can browse the source or point your SVN client to the latest trunk, where you’ll find the latest development build. The 2.0 release is what’s in the Apple iTunes store right now. If you’ve never heard of SVN, you can learn more about Subversion on Wikipedia.
WordPress for iPhone was created by Automattic and developed with the help of the WordPress community. Home screen icons were designed for WordPress by Ben Dunkle. Additional icons in the interface were designed by, and included with the permission of, IconBuffet.
